IvyGene

The IvyGene test is a blood test that uses advanced DNA sequencing methods to detect the DNA methylation pattern of circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) in blood samples in order to both confirm the presence of cancer and give quantifiable data about disease presence.

Unlike many genetic tests that investigate DNA mutations to determine the propensity or possibility of developing cancer over time, the IvyGene test identifies DNA methylation patterns consistent with disease presence and gives quantitative data about disease presence at the time of testing. ONCOblot Laboratories

The ONCOblot® Test was developed as a tissue of origin test and to provide a non-invasive follow-up option to existing tests such as a High PSA, Abnormal Mammogram, Suspicious PET Scan and biopsies.  Applications such as identification of unknown primary (CUP), recurrence monitoring, post cancer treatments and for targeted high risk populations can be other potential uses. The ONCOblot currently has reduced commercial availability. Cutting-edge research and advancements in streamlining are currently underway.

Product Launch

The owners of ONCOblot are excited to launch the IvyGene test in the beginning of 2018. The IvyGene test is a ground-breaking new blood test that uses Next Generation Sequencing methods to detect the DNA methylation pattern of ctDNA in plasma samples in order to both confirm the presence of methylation patterns consistent with disease presence and to identify the possible tissue of origin.

Our website IvyGeneLabs will be available soon. In order to review publications and literature, please contact customer service at [email protected]
